Advasbot class in progress at Advaspire

Advasbot is the platform we designed ourselves, because nothing on the market did quite what we wanted. Students build from 3D-printed parts and electronic components, then program the result — a tilt maze, a game controller, a driving robot. Projects are wired to real inputs: a KY-023 joystick on one build, a wireless gamepad on the next, so students program the same machine two different ways and see how the interface changes the code. Each build takes a couple of sessions and ends in something playable.

What they walk away with

01

A finished, playable build — not a demo that only works in class.

02

Experience wiring inputs and reading them in code.

03

An understanding of how the same machine can be controlled in different ways.
