What Are Robots and Artificial Intelligence (AI)?

Imagine you are building a toy car out of blocks, adding a tiny motor to make it move, and giving it wheels to drive across the floor. That physical machine—the plastic, wheels, and wires—is a robot. Now imagine that toy car could look around, notice a wall in front of it, and decide on its own to turn left so it doesn't crash. That "thinking" part—the software inside that learns, makes choices, and solves problems—is Artificial Intelligence (AI).
